Position Summary:

Trupanion is seeking an ambitious candidate interested in a coaching position for our phone sales team. This role is responsible for the early development of new and existing sales team members. Additionally, the role will provide continued education for the current team. They will partner with the sales leadership team to find efficiencies, develop, and reinvent training material while helping to advise on the hiring/recruiting process to ensure we onboard the perfect candidate!

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Reinforce initial sales training for team members as well as continued education courses and coaching.
  • Increase sales teams’ effectiveness by exceeding goal targets
  • Maintain a high level of energy and passion with repetitive course material.
  • Support the creation and updating of existing training materials.
  • Act as a role model and brand ambassador.
  • Partner with leadership and key team members to identify training needs based on policy changes, company initiatives, business goals, and other factors.
  • Organize and implement refresher training sessions for existing team members.
  • Maintain coaching cadence calendar with documented performance and progress.
  • Participate in hiring activities.
  • Assist with the project team when developing and/or implementing new procedures and technology.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to increase sales teams’ effectiveness by exceeding goal targets
  • Outstanding command of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in developing and implementing a training curriculum for both in-house and remote audiences
  • Five years + in training, teaching and/or public speaking
  • Strong selling skills & techniques both in person and via phone
  • Proven passion for the learning & development of people
  • The ability to provide student feedback, with candor
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with a team
  • Driven to improve the member experience
  • Engaging personality and communication style, with the ability to inspire others
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal
