Your day-to-day:

  • Lead in-person and online training sessions for Modus sales employees. These include: new hire onboarding, uplevel training and new product training.
  • Design and develop new training courses & programs for sales and internal partner teams utilizing multiple training vehicles such as video, documentation, and practical exercises for in-person and online learning.
  • Continually update & improve training curricula based on Modus, sales and/or companywide training initiatives.
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of the Modus training programs, such as coordinating training schedules, agendas, and messaging.
  • Work cross functionally across Operations, Product and Engineering teams to ensure needs from each department are met and teams are cross-trained on relevant sales topics.
  • Document and report data on completed courses.
  • Monitor and measure training effectiveness to ensure current programs are responding to the needs of the business.
  • Assist with Quality Assurance Monitoring efforts when needed.
  • Provide feedback, support, training & guidance to Modus sales employees as well as fellow members of the Modus Leadership Team on a regular basis.
  • Support Sales Managers as needed.
  • Work with leadership to prioritize training creation based on ROI.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated success in building technical and behavioral training content and programs that positively impact revenue.
  • Ability to address varied learning audiences with modern tools and approaches to learning including remote classrooms, interactive and self-study options.
  • Superior presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong self-motivation with the ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs.
  • Excellent collaboration skills: you will have multiple stakeholders and will need to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate others.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Office or G-Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or their G-Suite alternatives.
  • Proficiency with content creation/authoring tools such as Adobe Acrobat, and/or Microsoft Publisher, as well as the ability to produce and edit video content.
  • Experience conducting virtual training and meetings.
  • Ability and willingness to travel ~20% of the month.
  • 2 or more years experience in a Sales or Training role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desirable.
