As an Account Executive, you'll prospect, qualify, and close new business. You will build a deep technical understanding of our products and existing customer use cases to ensure rapid addressing of customers' business needs - quite autonomously. You will create an outbound prospecting plan to augment business and explore new verticals and customer profiles.

Why we want to meet you

  • 7+ years of closing experience in mid-market to enterprise-class sales, preferably in voice-first technologies, AI, ML, or APIs
  • Demonstrated track record of quota attainment
  • You’re experienced with complex sales cycles
  • You’ve worked for a startup and a tech giant
  • You are articulate and poised with clear and concise spoken and written communication
  • You have a consistent record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; or equivalent professional working experience
  • Sales experience and working knowledge of APIs
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and an ability to persuade at all levels of a company

What you’ll do

  • Prospect, qualify and close new business
  • You will build a deep technical understanding of our products and existing customer use cases to ensure rapid addressing of customers' business needs
  • You will create an outbound prospecting plan to augment your business and explore new verticals and customer profiles
  • Qualify with discernment, negotiate, and close a high volume of new mid-market deals
  • Build significant pipeline via prospecting, networking, attending events, and expanding current customers
  • Drive a value-based sale, specifically tailored to address the business needs of a customer and with a deep technical understanding of their challenge and opportunity to succeed
  • Work closely with Solution Engineers to resolve prospects’ technical challenges and facilitate a solution elegantly oriented to the customer’s business need and long term strategy
  • Refine and evolve our sales process in collaboration with Operations and to enable repeatable sales motion for both new and upsell business
