The Role

In this role your job is to create self-generated pipeline and close business in our Emerging Market segment (accounts with fewer than 500 employees). We are looking for candidates that have experience using Outreach to crush their numbers as an SDR or an AE. If you are an experienced closer looking for a job to build your consultative sales skills or a SDR hoping to move on to the next step in your sales career, the Emerging AE position is a great way to learn how to sell the right way, uncovering pain and building value.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Prospecting & Meeting Setting
  • Identifying qualified accounts and completing outbound prospecting initiatives to build pipeline
  • Pipeline management
  • Guiding deals through our sales process
  • Unearthing, collecting, and maintaining the data needed for effective forecasting
  • Closing deals and achieving sales quota
  • Embrace our Command of the Message and MEDDPIC sales process
  • Building trust and legitimacy with prospects
  • Discovering pains and connecting them to the values of our solution
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Contributing to the Product, Marketing, Success, and other teams to make Outreach a better company

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven as a key contributor to the overall success of the company as well as your own quota
  • Self motivated and driven! We have the resources and and training, you drive the results
  • Be adaptable- all deals are unique. Can you clearly articulate business value, impact and ROI
  • Data-driven - you can “back of the napkin” it with the best, then go home and build a spreadsheet that brings understanding to any person doubting your strategy and decisions
  • You embody our core values. We are hungry craftspeople, we have grit, we are honest, we take ownership, we have each other’s back no matter what, we’re one with our customers, and we find strength in diversity and inclusion
  • Familiarly with Outreach or SaaS experience is preferred
