The Role 


As a Sr. Solutions Architect you will partner with the Sr. Director of Solutions Architecture, Outreach AEs, and RVPs to ensure a proper implementation value structure and methodology is pitched, scoped and executed with customers. In doing so, you will drive revenue for the company by managing compelling SOWs and proposals that clearly outline how a customer will implement and manage Outreach after purchase. You will conduct product presentations, assess business requirements and create compelling proposals on how our largest, Strategic customers will change manage, integrate the Outreach platform and ultimately train their teams.


This position can be remote or based out of one of our office in Seattle, Atlanta or NYC.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:

  • As a Sr. Solutions Architect at Outreach, you'll pitch, propose, and consult prospects on how to utilize Outreach Professional Services to ensure that the Outreach platform is configured and deployed to the needs of their organization
  • Work with internal Resource Specialist to evaluate project resourcing requirements for custom-scoped engagements
  • Partner with internal Outreach teams to discover and understand the prospect's situation and the challenges that they are experiencing
  • Align with Strategic RVPs and AEs to develop account strategies, ensuring alignment between the desired software outcomes, and necessary consulting to ensure customer outcomes
  • Partner with Value Engineering to craft custom scoped solutions that will ensure achievement of prospect/customer ROI and business case value
  • Work with Sales Reps and Solutions Consultants to validate and qualify out potential pilot opportunities for prospective customers
  • Partner with Account Managers to develop and showcase offerings for existing clients to support their ongoing value realization and/or expansion plans
  • Work with a variety of prospect stakeholders to understand their existing processes and craft solutions using Outreach, ranging from Executive-level presentations to Technical owner discussions and validations
  • Provide your prospects with insights and learnings from your vast experience in helping customers improve their business / sales development processes
  • Translate prospect use cases into clear project plans and solutions with the Outreach application and demonstrate the path to ROI
  • Craft custom estimates of work, SOWs and proposals
  • Partner with prospect legal teams and procurement to manage negotiations and redlines
  • Partner with Outreach Legal and Revenue teams to ensure compliance with best practices when crafting custom contract language
  • Work with our pre-sales team to manage any technical items needed in their evaluation and ultimately expand those technical items into full project proposals.
  • Share your selling and technical experience with the rest of the Outreach field team and make contributions to the Sales, Product, Marketing, and Success teams
  • Mentor Solutions Architects in the execution of the above responsibilities
  • Partner with Services Operations on pipeline planning, forecasting, contracts, and project preparation
  • Understand partner offerings and provide recommendations around services these firms can provide, when of best fit for clients
  • Provide feedback to product management about the successes and failures in the field

Basic Qualifications:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a sales position - selling customized solutions (implementation, consulting, development, design)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related technology field or equivalent experience as a Professional Services Practitioner 
  • Proven track record of selling services into complex Strategic organizations such as global businesses, more traditional lines of business
  • You have a deep familiarity/understanding with services organizations within SaaS companies
  • Experience with negotiations and contracting at the Executive level 
  • Expert level of the Outreach Platform is preferred
  • A broad understanding of Project Management, Change Management and consulting within global Enterprise companies
  • Highly organized

  • Proven ability to craft highly complex, custom proposals and solutions 
  • Ability to quickly knock out high-quality deliverables and presentations
  • Strive to be at the top of the leaderboard, and constantly look for ways to hone your craft

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, general sales processes, and sales development methodologies
