We take your favorite characters and turn them into adorable, or sometimes scary, collectible figures. Our most famous line, Pop! Vinyl, has millions of fans around the world. 

We’re looking for a Sr. Procurement Specialist to help execute and lead the day-to-day procurement activities. This role will also have significant contributions to the creation and implementation of procurement policies and best practices, including the procurement vision and strategy, to aid and improve operational performance.

 

Your Superpowers in Action

  • Complete purchase requests by verifying specifications needed and placing purchase orders with vendors
  • Develop and coordinate new policies and procedures regarding purchase order management to align with best practice
  • Conducts analysis of program policies and procedures, develops plans, formulates guidelines, implements new process and procedures
  • Identify process improvements within the procurement workflow and document as well as execute for standardization
  • Participate in developing requirements and be involved in the automation/test of purchasing ERP software
  • Assist in developing training material, preparing lesson plans, and overseeing procurement training
  • Evaluate existing supplier performance; makes recommendations for improvements
  • Review production reports for potential issues to pro-actively identify resolution
  • Negotiate delivery terms, dates, pricing and conditions for the procurement of required materials and services from approved suppliers
  • Establish strategies to improve supply chain, solve shortage issues and strengthen supplier relationships
  • Assist with development of vendor requirement strategies; perform analyses to compare vendor quality and pricing as necessary

Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry

  • 5+ years direct procurement and sourcing experience, preferably within the consumer product industry
  • Must have a deep understanding of procurement/purchasing standards and best practices
  • Ability to execute purchase requests using manual processes; experience with automation or implementing automation is a plus but not required
  • Highly organized and able to work independently with little direction
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to react to production changes and/or supplier delays quickly and accurately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred Microsoft Dynamics NAV
