Your role and impact

98point6 is looking for a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships with a track record of success in developing partnerships that drive revenue-generating opportunities and client growth in the healthcare space. As a key member of the team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you’ll explore, identify, create, negotiate and execute on new partnership opportunities. You will own the creation and recommendation of our go-to-market strategy for identified partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO, CCO and cross-functional leadership to develop and reflect the company’s vision for growth and expansion into new markets
  • Drive the strategic planning process and establish mechanisms to effectively manage and report on new market opportunities
  • Determine key industry programs and events that will enhance our business development strategy
  • Establish and execute a strategic approach to incubating, scaling, and resourcing new partnership opportunities
  • Execute 98point6 market strategy to drive partnerships that increase revenue opportunities with self-insured and fully insured organizations
  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analytical work by partnering with business intelligence that unlocks business insights and drives sound decision-making on new business opportunities

Requirements

  • 10+ years in management consulting, corporate strategic planning, corporate development, or finance
  • 10+ years in sales or business development
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare benefits, the healthcare industry, and employee benefits; background in a health plan and/or benefits consulting preferred
  • Experience selling health IT, medical insurance, enterprise benefits, SaaS or consulting solutions
  • Outstanding external and internal stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • An understanding of new market segments and the development of appropriate solutions/strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business challenges
  • Bachelor's degree required
