Your Role and Impact

98point6 is looking for a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships with a track record of success in developing and overseeing partnerships that drive revenue-generating opportunities in the healthcare space. You’ll be creating a new sales channel focusing on health systems, health plans, ACOs, etc. Once the channel and approach are executed you will explore, identify, create, negotiate and execute on new partnership opportunities within this space.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO, CCO and cross-functional leadership to reflect the company’s vision for growth and expansion into this new segment
  • Develop and oversee the organization's long-range strategic partnership initiatives for health plans and health systems to ensure optimal growth and profitability
  • Evaluate viability of outside business partners, alliances, and joint ventures to support the development and implementation of strategic partnerships
  • Generate new business opportunities and increase revenue with existing clients. Conduct market research and develop marketing strategies to ensure growth
  • Analyze and identify business challenges and opportunities, and solve them using fact-based analysis to make strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Inform the organization about industry changes and developments, anticipating potential negative and positive trends on the business and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Identify, target, prospect and close complex partnership arrangements that deliver real value to the business

Requirements

  • 15+ years in sales, partnerships or business development
  • Proven success selling innovative technology products into the healthcare space
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare benefits, the healthcare industry, and employee benefits; background in a health plan and/or benefits consulting preferred
  • Experience selling health IT, medical insurance, enterprise benefits, SaaS or consulting solutions
  • Outstanding external and internal stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • An understanding of new market segments and the development of appropriate solutions/strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business challenges
  • Bachelor's degree required
