TMS is seeking out to find our next culture add! We have and exciting opportunity to share with you today and look forward to seeing your application soon! In this role you will be responsible for managing the communications, timelines, and deliverables for all SMU (Special Make Up) programs between the internal graphic design team, operations team, and the Specialty Coffee teams. Together with your experience and with the guidance of the Product Managers, is how we drive all factory samples, product prototypes, and customer approvals. You will also get the opportunity to lead and coordinate any collateral materials associated with product development, product presentations, and also contribute ideas to products colors, materials, and finishes.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
  • Responsible for coordinating printed packaging, graphic applications on products, and all other artwork applications required by the customer.
    • Responsible for communicating and tracking customer and internal timelines in Smartsheets, excel and google docs.
    • Liaison between the Product Management and internal graphics department for graphic design feedback, revisions, samples, approvals, color proofs, photography, base artwork request submission, and ordering of product samples and requesting all program costing from the Supply Chain team.
  • Sample lead for key customers.
    • Product lead for ordering, preparing, and tracking customer approval on samples in a timely manner.
    • Maintain all items in Agile and required customer spreadsheets in a timely and efficient manner: sample request forms, prototype request forms, graphics service requests, and weekly project logs.
    • Organize and maintain all product samples onsite, as well as offsite.
  • Drive new treatments and finishes.
    • Act as a Liaison between the Product Management team and R&D team on CMF (Color, Material and Finish), coordinating reference samples, CMF samples, and communicating and tracking internal timelines with the customer.
    • Proactively submit new treatment and finish requests on behalf of the Product Management team as well as submit customer specific treatment and finish requests to the R&D team.
    • Coordinate with Product Management & Graphics team to design and create high level, visually impactful presentations to showcase new available treatments and finishes to customers.
  • Support Product Managers with market & trend research.
    • Conduct seasonal retail audits to evaluate programs, pricing, as well as new, existing, and competitive products.
    • Responsible for competitive shopping in the marketplace including purchasing, documenting, and completing competitive reviews.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
  • Strong interest in consumer products, visual merchandising, and graphic applications.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing and in person.
  • Has a proven track record of effectively communicating with business teams and customers.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Prior experience working directly with product management, sales, and graphics departments.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile, Smartsheet's, Google docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, is a plus.
  • Oracle Agile experience preferred.
  • Good personal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels - including international teams.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Patient and positive attitude a must; neatness and punctuality important.
  • Ability to continuously learn and apply new information.
  • Teamwork spirit.

Education and Experience
  • 4-year degree required
  • 2-3 years of experience in the consumer goods industry or project management preferred

Starting salary between $91,000-$116,000
