The Senior Accountant will manage accounting operations, month-end close, compliance, tax preparation, and auditing, while supporting ERP implementation and process improvements.
Revenue Analytics is a fast-growing SaaS company helping businesses transform complex data into competitive advantage. We’re seeking a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for supporting the management and execution of core accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial data is delivered to key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the VP, Controller, this role will lead and support the month-end close, billing and receivables, expense management, compliance, and both internal and external reporting. The ideal candidate will also contribute to ongoing process improvements and system implementations to enhance overall accounting operations.
What You Will Do:
· Lead the timely execution of global month-end close procedures.
· Assist in the preparation and filing of tax and compliance-related items, including sales and income taxes.
· Manage complex accounting areas including:
- ASC 606 (revenue and expense recognition),
- ASC 842 (lease accounting),
- Stock-based compensation,
- Purchase accounting for acquisitions.
· Support the full order-to-cash cycle, including customer contract management and revenue recognition setup within the billing system (Maxio).
· Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system (Intacct or NetSuite) and the decommissioning of legacy systems (QuickBooks and Maxio).
· Support post-acquisition integration efforts to streamline operations and consolidate financial reporting.
· Prepare and analyze internal financial reporting packages, including those for lenders, management, and the Board of Directors.
· Support accounts payable operations, including credit card programs and employee expense reimbursements.
· Assist in the coordination and execution of various audits, including:
- Annual financial statement audit,
- SOC 2 compliance,
- Employee benefit plan audit.
What You Will Need:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
· 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting and SaaS industry experience preferred.
· Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP with a focus on standards applicable to SaaS companies.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage financial risk.
· Experience with ERP and financial systems implementation is a plus.
