Who You Are
You are a strategic and analytical professional who excels at the intersection of business strategy, marketing performance, and data-driven decision-making. You will provide innovative solutions to achieve various business goals by analyzing, interpreting, and modeling data. This person should have extensive knowledge of industry-standard data analytics tools and advanced analytics techniques.
What You'll Do
- Assure the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis.
- Analyze data with standard statistical methods, interpret the results, and provide both written and verbal summaries and recommendations.
- Design, deploy, and document predictive models to support marketing strategy and audience selection; ensure models are production-ready, well-governed, and aligned with business objectives.
- Produce solutions that will impact the Company’s bottom line within different aspects of the company, including but not limited to: Marketing, sales, pricing, credit, partnerships, and risk.
- Develop and optimize content ranking frameworks to guide creative assignment and iterative testing, driving improvements in conversion rates across marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure that data-driven insights align with business objectives.
What You'll Need
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related quantitative fields.
- 2+ years of work experience in the Financial Services industry focused on business analytics and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with A/B testing and/or building predictive models using statistical/machine learning techniques (e.g. CART, logistic regression, linear regression, random forest, XGBoost etc.).
- Intellectual curiosity and aptitude to pick up new technical skills and domain knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communications.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience in consumer lending.
- Experience with list-based marketing channels (Direct Mail, Email, SMS, Paid Search).
- Proficiency with PowerBI.
- Experience leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, DALL·E) to enhance productivity, automate content creation, and support data-driven decision-making.
