The financial advisory industry is a $80T market in the US, but has seen little technological innovation compared to the self-service market (Robinhood, Betterment, Wealthfront, SoFi). Client data management is a universally painful and expensive problem for financial advisors. Today, advisors manually collect, update, and utilize client data across the 7-10 software tools that they use to run their business. Data transcription and translation across systems is time-consuming and error-prone, leading to costly inefficiencies and embarrassing client-facing problems. Managing data access control, audit logs, and compliance is a constant challenge, particularly in larger organizations.
We are building the first wealth tech data orchestration company. We sync client data across a financial advisor's tech stack, unlocking the efficiency of a fully-integrated software suite with the choice of tools that best fit their business. We are laser-focused on enabling the best technology experiences for advisors and unlocking the potential of the entire wealth tech software ecosystem. We’re an experienced team of start-up operators with deep roots in both tech and advisory. You can learn more about us on our website.
Role DetailsRole overview:
We’re looking for an experienced frontend engineer who can lead the development of our early product experience. You'll help shape the frontend architecture, build core user-facing features end-to-end, and heavily influence our UX, design system, and product direction.
Where you'll make an impact:
Own and drive core areas of our frontend, building features such as self-service onboarding flows, data reconciliation UX, and digital account-opening experiences.
Define our frontend architecture and patterns, including component abstractions, state management, performance strategy, and accessibility standards.
Establish and evolve our design system and UI toolkit, partnering closely with Design and Product to ensure a polished, consistent experience at scale.
Shape our technical vision and roadmap as an early employee, influencing decisions across product, engineering, and customer workflows.
Champion developer experience, improving local tooling, CI, documentation, Storybook practices, and testing workflows to make our team faster and more confident.
Help grow the team, participating in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring other engineers as we scale.
Requirements:
Strong track record of shipping high-quality, user-facing systems with meaningful complexity, performance constraints, or scale.
Deep experience building modern web applications (React preferred) with a focus on component design, state management, interactions, and polished UX.
Comfortable working closely with designers, PMs, and cross-functional partners to translate ambiguous requirements into intuitive customer experiences.
Excited to be a high-ownership IC in an early-stage environment.
Bias toward action and clarity - you see opportunities to improve the product or frontend architecture and take initiative without waiting.
Customer-centric mindset with a strong intuition for usability, accessibility, and high-quality product craftsmanship.
Thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and high autonomy.
7+ years of engineering experience (or equivalent impact).
You’ll stand out if you have:
Experience building B2B software and/or fintech software.
Experience at seed/early-stage startups (eg, being a first-3 engineer at a company).
Experience building and maintaining open source software.
Previously started a company and/or launched personal projects.
Experience with AI promting, models, and tools. You are someone who not only leverages these in your work, but can help level-up our team.
