About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Manager of People Experience Programs to strategically lead HR Programs for our Global Employees. You will design and deliver enterprise-wide development solutions to enhance employee performance and engagement at scale. This will include overseeing key HR projects, global expansion, managing cross-functional programs, and ensuring alignment between HR goals and organizational objectives. You will also contribute to the design and delivery of our overarching global HR strategy. To be successful, you will need to find creative ways to build structure & process, understand how to operate in a complex and changing space, and strengthen Remitly's unique culture in our locations around the world. This role will report to our VP of People partners and will work a hybrid schedule out of our Seattle, WA headquarters.

You Will:

  • Enhance operational efficiency, drive HR strategic initiatives, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the HR department and the organization.
  • Manage the annual calendar of HR Rhythm of the Business and ensure key deliverables are on track.
  • Refresh and simplify talent review processes to build a consistent, objective, and easy-to-use approach that objectively identifies top talent and provides a view of Remitly's top talent.
  • Lead employer engagement efforts and evolve engagement survey process.
  • Be a leader in guiding our company's entry into new international markets, leading the HR work streams as Remitly establishes and expands operations in new markets.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes that will positively affect the HR team and its counterparts and help us scale.
  • Develop a partnerships with Legal, Finance, Recruiting, and Benefits to drive the integration of our human resources strategy with the needs and regulations of the new market and facilitate change management to support organizational adaptation in new markets.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to HR team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations to make systematic improvements in workforce analytics, management briefings, and talent initiatives.
  • Experience creating materials to support executive presentations including board meetings

You Have:

  • 8+ years of HRBP or People Partner experience, including 5+ years developing and leading strategic programs, change efforts and program management experience in the HR space
  • Have experience building global enterprise processes that improve accuracy and efficiency, while still remaining flexible.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and facilitate best decisions for employees and the business in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience with business process alignment and planning, aligned to Company wide business rhythm.
  • A data-driven approach to diagnose challenges, identify solutions, and drive successful resolutions.
  • Proven experience in an advisory role, with a track record of managing complex projects, influencing without direct authority, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $144,000-$180,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
