Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve our strategy around connectivity, high availability, and workload migration. This person will lead initiatives that empower customers to connect securely, migrate seamlessly, replicate reliably, and ensure business continuity. You’ll partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to solve complex problems at the intersection of networking, distributed systems, and developer experience.
What You’ll Own
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for key infrastructure areas, including:
- HA features to support highly available global deployments replicated across different cloud providers and regions
- Zero-downtime workload migrations, including from self-hosted to Temporal Cloud and back
- Secure, performant, and easy to manage network connectivity (private networking, stable IPs, and IP allowlisting) across all Temporal Cloud interfaces
- Edge proxy capabilities to enhance performance and security at network boundaries
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to define requirements and drive roadmap delivery
- Partner with customer-facing teams to deeply understand user pain points and translate them into scalable solutions
- Ensure our enterprise customers can meet their compliance, security, and availability requirements
What You Bring
- 5–8+ years of product management experience, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise SaaS
- Background in networking, cloud infrastructure, enterprise connectivity, data replication, or high availability
- Familiarity with core networking concepts, including virtual networking (e.g., VPCs), DNS resolution, traffic reachability and routing, and directionality (ingress/egress flows and policies)
- Familiarity with data replication, tradeoffs for active-active vs active-passive, and distributed systems challenges
- Strong customer instincts and the ability to work backward from complex enterprise needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across deeply technical and non-technical teams
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting or building edge proxies, encoders/codecs, or SDK-integrated services
- Exposure to hybrid cloud or cloud migration tooling
- The estimated pay range for this role is $180,000 - $225,000.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan.
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.
