Who You Are and What You’ll Do  

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll design solutions, write code, and usher software into production. You will build services that industrialize the automation of offensive security processes and provide security information to our customers in a scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platform. 

As a Cosmos Software Engineer, you will work with senior technical staff to help design solutions and turn those solutions into software to build features and capabilities in our microservice architecture.  You will deliver software solutions into Production and continue to improve them over time. You will also continue to grow, learning to master various technologies across the Cosmos stack, following best practices in quality, scale, observability, and resiliency.  

Your Experience 

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience 
  • Experience in the foundations of Golang and building microservices 
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL technologies and solutions required (Postgres and DynamoDB preferred) 
  • Any experience in asynchronous processing is a plus 
  • Experience in a professional software organization using an SDLC 
  • Understanding of coding best practices (structure, patterns, unit tests, secure coding, etc.) 
  • Ability to work independently and with the team to solve complex technical problems 
  • Experience developing asynchronous microservices with a strong understanding of scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance. 
  • Hands-on experience with distributed messaging systems, preferably Kafka, to enable event-driven architecture and service communication. 
  • An interest in cybersecurity is a plus
