Staff Product Designer

The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team plays a pivotal role in Affirm’s mission to build direct, lasting relationships with our customers. Our App and Card experiences empower people with modern, transparent ways to pay and manage their finances—building trust and confidence along the way.

We’re at a critical inflection point in Affirm’s journey, with millions of people engaging with our products and new opportunities to expand how they use Affirm every day. As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll join a deeply experienced and committed team to shape these end-to-end journeys, raise the bar for clarity, quality, and delight, and redefine how people interact with their money.
 

What you'll do

• Own and drive design initiatives for embedded financial experiences, delivering high-impact, customer-centric solutions that align with business objectives.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and external partners to drive innovation and deliver seamless, intuitive experiences.

• Embrace agility—iterating quickly, adapting to change, and making data-driven decisions while maintaining a strong vision for the future.

• Shape frameworks and ways of working that empower teams to move faster and make great decisions.

• Balance shipping now with scaling for the future, ensuring coherence across platforms.

• This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of product design experience.
