Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain automated test frameworks for backend services and APIs • Write and execute API tests using Java, Karate, RestAssured, and Postman • Validate backend data using Cassandra or other NoSQL databases • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and GitHub Actions • Collaborate with developers and QA to improve coverage and reliability • Document test cases in Confluence, track work in Jira
Required Skills: • 5-7 years in backend test automation or SDET roles • Strong in Java and API testing tools • Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and backend architecture • Familiar with Git, CI/CD, Jira, Confluence
