Role SummaryThe Vice President of Integration & Development ensures Compass Surgical Partners’ new and acquired ASCs are integrated seamlessly, launched successfully, and positioned for sustained operational and financial performance. This leader oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of ASC integration and de novo development—from due diligence and construction through go-live and stabilization—ensuring every center adopts Compass systems, achieves readiness milestones, and delivers early performance traction.
The role requires a strategic operator who combines disciplined project management, facility development experience, and exceptional cross-functional leadership to accelerate time-to-value across Compass’s growing ASC network.
What You’ll DoIntegration Excellence
Lead integration planning and execution for newly acquired centers, ensuring all sites adopt Compass standards, systems, and workflows within 120 days of close
Achieve 90%+ completion of integration milestones within the first 60 days post-acquisition
Drive early operational traction, with stakeholder satisfaction exceeding 90% after integration
De Novo Development Leadership
Oversee all de novo projects from design through operational go-live, ensuring centers open on time, within budget, and fully compliant
Partner with Construction, Clinical, Operations, and Regulatory teams to deliver facilities that are patient-ready and accreditation-prepared on day one
Conduct post-launch readiness reviews to confirm sustainability and absence of critical gaps
Operational Readiness & Playbook Evolution
Focus integration and development resources on each site’s top 3–5 value drivers to accelerate performance and reduce time-to-value
Continuously refine the Compass playbook, incorporating lessons learned to improve speed, efficiency, and outcomes across projects
Maintain visibility across all active sites, ensuring alignment of resources, timelines, and cross-functional priorities
Cross-Functional & External Leadership
Act as the central point of coordination between Operations, Clinical, Finance, IT, and HR for integration and development activities
Build trusted, collaborative relationships with physicians, administrators, and key partners to ensure smooth transitions
Represent Compass as a professional, values-driven partner throughout development and onboarding
Performance & Reputation
Ensure each new or acquired ASC meets early operational and financial benchmarks within 90 days post-launch Reinforce Compass’s reputation as a best-in-class ASC integrator and operator through effective communication, responsiveness, and delivery excellence
Model the leadership behaviors, accountability, and partnership that define Compass’s culture and growth philosophy
10+ years of experience in healthcare facility integration, project management, or multi-site operations—ideally in regulated outpatient or surgical settings
Proven success leading cross-functional projects encompassing construction, readiness, and operational go-live
Deep understanding of regulatory and operational requirements for launching or transitioning healthcare facilities
Experience collaborating with contractors, architects, vendors, and operational leaders to deliver patient-ready facilities on time and within budget
Strong change management skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and executive presence; able to influence across diverse teams and partners
Project Management Discipline: Expert in managing multi-threaded timelines, anticipating risks, and driving accountability to milestones
Facility Development & Launch Expertise: Skilled in translating strategy into compliant, patient-ready facilities
Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Aligns diverse contributors toward shared goals; removes silos and keeps execution on track
Collaborative Leadership: Communicates with empathy and clarity; builds trust in high-change, high-stakes environments
