Job duties: The Software Developer position will develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs for iOS and android operating systems using Xamarin, Swift, Objective-C, Java and Kotlin. Employee will coordinate database development as part of a team of developers. He/she will develop performant,.NET, C# server code utilized by the client applications; access data from the server's backend using MVC, REST, Microservices, and Web API; develop software solutions and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency; analyze and evaluate product technical specs, estimate development costs, analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints and will also determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications; work on continuous integration, design, development and modification of software systems to build and deploy the process of features, applications and services and predict/measure outcome and consequences of design; use GitHub to implement a repository to store applications metadata files or directory structure; modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance; develop and become involved with the testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation of software systems, applications and services such as with writing unit, functional, integration and UI tests; work with and confer with a team of developers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces; act as the main point of contact for any mobile development issues when working within a team developing a feature; and bring up to higher management any big issues or technology decisions that can impact other teams in the project.
