The “virtual tools” you design, along with the team, may be based on real-world manipulatives that teachers use in classrooms to teach kids math concepts like counting 1-10 or place value or the relationship between the part and the whole with fractions. Or they may be entirely new concepts that could not be accomplished outside of a digital realm – your skills in human-computer interactions will help guide this process.
