The Photo Editor will have strong knowledge of all areas of print and digital editing, working with content for both mobile and web-based platforms. You will be responsible for the curation of visual content on our website and a variety of other projects, including the researching, selecting, editing, and producing photos and videos.

In this role, you will have a proven track record of editorial production and visual conceptualization and the ability to work with a small team on deadline. You are a hands-on, creative contributor who is able to own and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. You will also collaborate with departments across the RoundGlass ecosystem to help define both the brand story and the story as interpreted by the customer.

What you'll do:

  • Create online photo collection for both mobile and web-based platforms
  • Edit and retouch high resolution photographs including color correcting, cropping and adjusting as needed
  • Produce and build visual assets to accompany RG’s audio content
  • Commission and oversee photographers, including creating visual concepts and determining budget and schedule, using stock photos to meet the needs of the project, etc.
  • Ensure images are properly licensed; help negotiate fees and supervise contracts and cost-shares
  • Maintain and manage a network of image contributors
  • Ensure a high standard of visual execution and brand consistency across multiple media platforms
  • Collaborate with Photographers and Content Team to ensure consistency of messaging and product story

Who we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of professional photo editing experience
  • Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in the health and wellness space is a plus
  • Work well under pressure in an extremely fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Extensive research skills
  • A creative vision and enthusiasm to spearhead and collaborate on new ideas
  • Knowledge of photography media community and an understanding of current trends
  • Familiarity with start-up environment preferred
