Job Description

 

The Sr Copy Editing Specialist is responsible for proofreading and editing company RFPs (request for proposals), ensuring the company is submitting clear, consistent and grammatically correct content that adheres to brand standards. This role also will provide editing support for a wide range of marketing and sales content developed across the company, including sales collateral, PowerPoint slides, web content, ads, demand generation materials (emails, social, webinar abstracts), award submissions and speaker abstracts. This person should be an experienced copy editor who is able to quickly review, edit and improve a wide variety of content across multiple channels.

A day in the life…

  • Partner closely with sales operations team to ensure the quality and timeliness of RFP submissions.
  • Create, maintain and socialize RFP style guide.
  • Proofread and edit demand generation marketing content (nurture emails, social posts, advertisements, website, event collateral, etc.).
  • Proofread and edit sales content, including product one sheets, customer letters, etc.
  • Provide editing support for internal communications, People & Culture, and executives across the company, as needed.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in copy editing.
  • Understanding of marketing and sales functions in B2B company.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong eye for ensuring accuracy and completeness.
