About the Position:


At Pushpay, the Data Steward plays a key role on the Operations team and within the company. You will manage master data by processing reporting and analytics, source data updates, monitoring exceptions, and taking appropriate actions. A major task will be conducting data quality reviews and ensuring data accuracy. The Data Steward role will work primarily within Salesforce and Excel. The following is an overview of the job duties and experience required.


Data Analysis

  • Develop a deep understanding and working knowledge of all Salesforce data sources; their purpose, structure, definitions and how they are populated
  • Validate Salesforce data sources, meet requirements and analyze data quality identifying improvements and solutions for data gaps
  • Perform data segmentation, review and reporting of Salesforce data sources
  • Adhere to and recommend improvements to data governance

Data Management

  • Apply standards and best practices that aligns to Salesforce data standards & guidelines and collaborate with sources systems to influence e2e compliance.
  • Create and maintain analytics data source(s) documentation including current and future state
  • Manage daily data loads to Salesforce
  • Provide Salesforce support to internal teams

Education/Qualifications

Minimum Required:

  • University/College Degree


Experience

Minimum Required:

  • 2-3 years managing business data quality, preferably within the SaaS development environment
  • Understanding of databases, and how data impacts analysis
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills to be able to manipulate data
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including knowledge of email systems and zipping files
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload with some supervision
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
