About the Role:

The goal of Yield & Analytics is maximization of revenue from Coupang marketing solutions.

The team is responsible for designing and executing pricing/packaging strategy across Display Ads, Search and Merchandizing.The Senior Yield Analyst contributes to the group’s goals through providing ad inventory trends (supply & demand), performance monitoring, and pricing optimization recommendations on both: Product & Deal level.

The role is expected to collaborate with Product, Marketing & Sales teams driving a high level of collaboration and influence with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Forecasting: designing and maintaining inventory and yield forecasting models as a critical component of the Yield Management process. Assisting with analyzing sales patterns in order to identify trends and optimize pricing.

- Metrics: delivering a set of Key Performance Indicators, used for reporting on the quality of pricing and packaging arrangements. Provide visibility into the effectiveness of the monetization efforts.

- Feedback and Sales Support: manage deal-level inventory and pricing requests from Sales & Ad Operations for large, bespoke-pricing campaigns. Developing and distributing a set of pricing & inventory management rulebooks.

- Pricing models: developing and testing various pricing models for Display & Search ad. Providing simulations of possible revenue impact of the changes to be introduced.

- Price-point optimization: propose and model recommendations for price changes for existing offerings based on value, performance and competitive positioning

Requirements:

-Experience, Skills, Qualities:

The candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Knowledge of various pricing methodologies and systems is preferred.

Excellent quantitative analysis and modeling skills required; strong presentation and communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
• Statistical modeling experience required
• 4-7 years of experience as analyst in complex, multi-group organization.
• Previous experience in Online Media Pricing, Inventory Management or Business Management preferred.
• Excellent skills in Excel and Access. SQL skills important.
• Data visualization tools experience highly desirable (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau, etc.)
