We are looking for experienced Data Scientists to join the Matching Team in Convoy’s Marketplace organization. The Matching Team owns Convoy’s core algorithms and optimization routines driving efficiencies in our marketplace, including automated reloads and in-app brokerage. You will collaborate with Research Scientists, Product Managers, Economist and Engineers across the Product organization and interact with stakeholders across the company. You will be responsible for defining core business logic in our data warehouse, developing insights to drive product decisions, building data models, and developing and analyzing experiments.

You will:

• Extract insight from internal and external data sources to drive product strategy and inform modeling requirements
• Own key parts of Convoy weekly business review (WBR) reporting, analysis, and deep dive
• Define key business metrics that inform decisions for the broader organization
• Key contributor to Convoy matching algorithms and analysis

You have:

• BS or MS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a highly quantitative discipline
• At least one year of industry experience with data querying, manipulation and analysis using Python/R and SQL
