The Ad Targeting team builds products and systems to help advertisers reach out to the best audience. You’ll be joining an early stage team that is growing quickly and laying the foundation for Pinterest’s business success.

What you’ll do:

• Develop new techniques for inferring user interests from online activity
• Work on large scale data systems targeting ads to users
• Work with product and sales teams to design and implement new ad targeting features

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience working with large-scale distributed systems
• Strong industry experience in large scale systems, big data, and machine learning
• Strong experience in user modeling and targeting in the applications of recommendations, search, ads, or personalized shopping
