Job Description

The Role:

Are you looking to use your prior Deal Desk experience to make a noticeable positive impact on the business?

We’re seeking a Sr. Deal Desk Analyst to join our Sales Operations team who will be responsible for taking the Deal Desk to the next level. You will support the Sales Team in closing deals, pricing strategy, quote management, deal review, and more. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Legal, Finance, Customer Success, IT Security and more to implement new innovative solutions and processes that help PayScale win more deals, at a faster pace, and for a higher sales price.

In this role, you will:

Review and approve special pricing & deal structure for prospective buyers, including our largest and most strategic accounts.

Manage our price books and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system (Salesforce CPQ).

Streamline business practices, including tools, templates and processes, to increase the efficiency & expediency of quoting and booking a deal.

Develop & communicate deal strategy and negotiation standard methodologies.

Assist with request for proposal (RFP) responses.

Provide business and competitive intelligence - Analyze trends in customer requests and pricing and take action improve profitability and growth.

Develop new competitive pricing models to grow the revenue stream.

Implement a standard Deal Review process across all segments.

Qualifications

The Person:

The ideal individual for this opportunity brings the following to the table:

You are a highly analytical self-starter with sound decision-making capabilities.

You prioritize well at times of high volume and high pressure, such as quarter-end.

You communicate well (verbal and written (contract language)) with various audiences ranging from clients to Sales Management to C-level leadership.

Your track record in process optimization and ability to deliver positive scalable results will speak for itself.

The Requirements:

You have 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Deal Desk, Contract Support, or related experience

You bring hands-on experience with CRM, contract management and e-signature platforms. Background using DocuSign, Salesforce, and Salesforce CPQ is preferred

You are familiar with SaaS Accounting principles and complex Contract negotiation tactics

You possess strong negotiation and analytical skills
