The UX Designer executes the creative vision of a project via the creation of user interface renderings and specifications. The UX Designer directly collaborates with Experience Researchers, Developers and other Designers on the project team. The UX Designer is responsible for the consistent production of high-quality, innovative design solutions.

Are a well-rounded Designerresponsible for the production and delivery of creative design deliverables and making the connection between business needs and user experience driven design. You can imagine and specify navigation, framework, and basic page design through sketches, wireframes, IA maps, task flows. You like being the keystone of a design process, being involved early in a Discovery phase, collaborating with Experience Researchers, and continuing to consult after their work moves to development. 

What are you responsible for?

Collaborate with other design disciplines for the production and delivery of project deliverables 

 o  Analyze products and create various product research deliverables (i.e. heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, etc.) 

 o Has honest and frank conversations with the client related to their tasks on the project 

 o Present key product findings and recommendations to projekt202 team in advance of delivery to client 

 o Participate in opportunity brainstorming and prioritization 

Execute creative direction of project through preparation of design deliverables 

 o Holds holistic creative goals in mind when designing 

o Explores creative solutions and innovates in a consistent manner 

Ensure quality of personal work products 

 o Reviews own work prior to internal reviews to minimize critique of design flaws and grammatical errors 

 o Delivers solutions on time for internal reviews with Creative Director 

 o Ensures quality of deliverable is in line with methodology, best practice, trends, company standards and SOW 

Support projekt202 sales staff with new business development: 

 o Identify base design requirements and activities through early conversations with potential clients 

 o Create and refine various projekt202 business development materials to reflect the company 

Support the Program Manager by fielding, documenting and ensuring resolution of client/vendor questions, requests and concerns via appropriate projekt202 team members. 

Proactively raises concerns with Program Manager and CD regarding time commitments 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

At least 2 years professional experience with interaction/visual design for software user interfaces 

General understanding of user research techniques and their value in the design process 

Abreast of UI design best practices, trends and techniques 

Proficient with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch 

Basic understanding of technical platforms and terms (i.e. HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, Java, .NET, XAML/WPF, Flex etc.) 

Positive attitude, proactive and helpful

Strong listening and communication skills
