We are looking for a Graphic Web Designer/Developer to join our growing development team, and help us to build amazing systems that allow our clients to interface with our cloud products and services with ease.

Position Overview:

Hostwinds is looking for a talented Graphic Web Designer/Developer who will play a key role in the creation of our new platform. The ideal candidate will have a background in user centered design and contribute to the best user experience and user retention. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for our company branding. You will create assets for our website and marketing campaigns. You will follow best industry practice in design and have a strong understanding of Front End/UX technologies including HTML, CSS, InVision, Illustrator, and Sketch.

Web Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

Design engaging UX layouts for our systems

Follow design guidelines, standards and best practices

Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wire frames

Incorporating functionalities and features into websites

Creative design showing sample including colors and fonts

Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure

Web Graphic Designer Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience

Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InVision, and Sketch

Proficiency in Front End programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React

Proficient understanding of cross browser compatibility

Creative visual design skills

Detail oriented and collaborative

Be a proactive communicator and an awesome team player

A passion for responsive design

Be a self starter and take initiatives
