The global supply chain and logistics industry is being digitally disrupted, with technology adoptions like Cloud, Industry 4.0, IoT, Blockchains, Big Data, AI, Robotics, etc. DP World is the front runner in the revolution, pioneering the adoption of Hyperloop transportation, autonomous truck, drone delivery, Smart Sensor, BOXBAY storage system, blockchain, etc.

We are building a blockchain-backed trade logistics platform with the goal to provide the most frictionless experience for all parties in the cross-border global supply chain; buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, logistics service providers, port operators, customs, etc. Problems we are tackling include purchase order and shipment collaboration, document automation, shipping route optimization, rate engine, transition time prediction, customer insights and growth, business performance analytics, transaction risk modeling, etc. This is an early-stage initiative with a fast-paced, highly collaborative start-up like environment inside a global company.

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer professional to join our technology team. If you’re excited to be part of a winning team, DP World technology team is a great place to grow your career. The ideal candidate should have an eye for simplicity and artful design, be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flow and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Responsibilities

·       Submit product wireframe and adapt to requirement changes
·       Use recent studies and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences
·       Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to clients and p management
·       Create surveys for research through various media platforms to gather feedback on user’s ease of use and satisfaction interfacing on company websites and products
·       Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product
·       Analyze customer responses and website data to examine high traffic web pages and determine why certain webpages perform better
·       Enhance the user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the company
·       Combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and teamwork
·       Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
·       Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards

 Qualifications

·       Solid experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role
·       A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your process for creating great user-centered design solutions
·       Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively
·       Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple organizations and drive alignment
·       Ability to deal with ambiguity, work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced environment
·       Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations
·       Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly or remotely with developers for implementation
·       Experience with best practices for information design, as well as experience with usability principles and techniques
·       BS/MS degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
·       Proficiency in a variety of design tools (eg. Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Adobe XD, etc)
·       Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
