UX Designer (Local candidates only)
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a UX designer for our SaaS product and mobile apps. Candidates must have at least 3 years of UX design experience and be available to work in our downtown Seattle office without relocation assistance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Understand the customer workflows and design user experiences that make it easy for them to do their job
- Create elegant UX solutions to simplify the user experience implanting complex functionality
- Create UI design concepts that are visually beautiful
- Design rich, modern mobile experiences that are accessible, progressive, and responsive
- Stay up to date with the latest design and technology trends and align designs to these trends
- Optimize user experience design solutions to best meet customer and business goals
- Design for global audiences, considering localization and translation needs
- Mentor and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Development teams
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong understanding of human-centered mobile design principles including UI patterns, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and Google's Material Design
- Experience creating responsive web experiences and then redesigning those experience to align with iOS and Android specific native designs
- Portfolio demonstrating sound product thinking through navigation, user flows, interaction design, and information architecture
- Comfortable in presenting design ideas to stakeholders and taking constructive feedback
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills to articulate the rationale behind design choices
- Passion for designing beautiful, usable, and accessible experiences
- Comfortable working in a quick paced organization
- Degree in a relevant field (HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, etc.) preferred
