About the Role:

RealSelf is looking for a Visual Merchandiser/Designer to join the Consumer Marketing team. The Visual Merchandiser/Designer will be responsible for ideating, creating and executing trend-forward, immersive consumer & B2B event experiences. Responsibilities will include identifying key themes, ideating against the consumer experience, developing and delivering concepts to completion working cross-functionally to build and execute.

A successful candidate must be able to work at the strategic level (understand high-level briefs & applicable technologies) while delivering at the tactical level (developing/delivering concepts and experiences that are ahead of trend, on brand and actionable). This candidate will have a strong sense of elevated design and build techniques. 

The Visual Merchandiser and Environmental Experience Designer who joins the team should be passionate about the beauty and aesthetics category, have a high level of energy and be ready to jump into a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

In this role you will: 

• Be the creative visionary practitioner, the bridge between creative strategy and tactile consumer experience for our portfolio of current events and future concepts.
• Own physical event projects and creative work flows across multiple cross functional teams to deliver beautiful solutions on brand and budget
• Resourceful and clever, with proven experience working at the forefront of creativity, intelligence and efficiency.
• Solve challenges quickly and delightfully, keeping the consumer at the center of the work.
• Deliver on larger creative, marketing and event strategies
• Create and maintain innovative project plans, be a hands-on team player, and self manage. (project schedules; collaborate effectively across teams)

About You - 

You may be the right fit if you have: 

• 4+ years of experience in marketing-led visual merchandising, retail or interior design
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Graphic Design with equivalent experience
• Experience in retail design, store design, visual merchandising with knowledge of resourcing and build techniques for consumer-centric, tech-infused experiences. 
• Experience partnering and collaborating on cross-functional teams and leading through creative influence
• Ability to accurately interpret and build on marketing briefs, data and feedback loops
• Demonstrated ability to present and sell concepts with excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with a keen sense of elevated design and taste, specific to image and typography
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop) 3D rendering tools and Sketch
• Experience with video and motion design preferred
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant experience required with application

Travel:

Light travel is anticipated for this role.

Work Environment:
