Unity is seeking a strong engineering leader to join our Mobile team to help the most widely used game engine on mobile evolve to its next generation. From improving the in-editor developer experience and runtime performance optimization, to platform-specific and low-level graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, OpenGL ES) integration, you will contribute to framing the end-to-end workflow of Unity for mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of 4-6 engineers including mentorship
• Help build and foster strong partnership and collaboration with teams around the world
• Work closely with Director of Mobile on strategic opportunities
• Evaluate new projects and opportunities to determine fit for Unity and its mission

Requirements

• 3+ Years managing small to medium teams
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Native Android development experience (NDK, JNI, etc) and/or native iOS development experience
• Domain software experience, graphics, games/gaming
• Software architecture and API design

Bonus Points

• Graphics work (Vulkan/Metal/DX12)
• Understanding and worked with Mobile CPU/GPU
• Prior experience working on mobile game engines and related technologies
