Transparent Systems is looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to implement elegant user-facing applications for our product offering. This role plays a critical function in our diverse Engineering team which is under 15 people. At Transparent Systems we are rewiring global financial settlements with an open universal platform that enables secure, frictionless payments through distributed cryptographic systems. Our product offering supports applications from B2B payments and cash management for financial institutions to cross border transactions and remittances. What you’ll be doing

* Develop user-facing applications with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (ES6, Vue.js, Vuex, Electron, etc.)

* Work closely with business and UI/UX designer stakeholders to ensure functional and brand alignment

* Utilize state management and MVVM (model view view-model)

* Ensure application meets business and acceptance requirements including security and compliance

* Implement bleeding-edge frameworks for testing and deployment of applications

* Provide point of view on deployment, versioning, testing, and QA of UI

* Ensure code coverage and design spec alignment

* Strong organizational and communication skills

 What you bring to us

* 4 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience

* Experience with the full software development life cycle and software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred)

* 2 years of experience developing (and passion for) user-centered interfaces, UI/UX, and emerging front-end frameworks

* You thrive on collaboration

* You are excited to build a viable product quickly as you are cementing a proven feature in maintainable and tested code

Your ‘extra’ experience

* Continuous Integration practices/tools and Open Source Frameworks

* Delivery of Tier-1 and/or enterprise software solutions

* FinTech, blockchain, banking, or payments industry experience

* Experience with Rust or desire to learn Rust
