We are looking for a Front End UX Developer to join our growing development team, and help us to build amazing systems that allow our clients to interface with our cloud products and services with ease.

Position Overview:

Hostwinds is looking for a talented Front End UX Developer who will play a key role in the creation of our new platform. The ideal candidate will have a background in user centered design and contribute to the best user experience and user retention. Your creative work will have a beautiful user experience across multiple screen sizes. You will follow best industry practice in design and have a strong understanding of Front End/UX technologies including HTML, CSS, Java Script, React, InVision, Illustrator, and Sketch

In this position you will support the design and Front End development process, execute the UX/UI of new experiences, participate in the planning, defining the scope, building, and testing of new features. We are looking for a self starter who is open to daily changes in workflow and comfortable in Agile work environment.

Position Expectations:

• Develop interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React

• Develop wireframes using InVision, Illustrator or Sketch

• Assist in creating and building a design system to streamline the UX design and Front End development processes

• Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms and devices
   

Position Success Metrics:

• Meeting all deadlines for timely delivery of projects

• Thoroughly understanding the business needs to align the design and aesthetics of the user interface in the final product

• Brand consistency and user experience across products, features, tools and services

• Creative design that looks and functions properly across responsive breakpoints
   

Candidate Skills:

• Creative visual design skills and solid experience developing engaging interfaces

• Superior knowledge of InVision, Illustrator, Sketch, HTML, CSS, and React

• A commitment to quality coding standards

• Experience with creating automation platforms to simplify user experience

• Be a self starter and take initiatives

• Knowledge of the hosting industry latest trends and technologies highly desired

• A passion for responsive design

• Be a proactive communicator and an awesome team player

• Proven flexibility during periods of rapid growth, with ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment

• Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large projects and determining timelines

• A persuasive, engaging portfolio that demonstrates your creativity
   

Education & Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in either design or development with 2-4 years of professional work experience, or equivalent professional experience doing Front End UX Development.
