WHO YOU ARE

As a programmer at ArenaNet, you'll have the opportunity to help shape our technology and solve compelling software engineering problems across a multitude of domains. You'll work on cross-discipline teams to create innovative gameplay, exhilarating graphics, or server architectures on a scale that other games can only dream about. Our programmers own the full life-cycle of the features they develop, and build them in a collaborative environment that encourages growth, learning and mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive C++ knowledge.
  • The ability to design, navigate and comprehend complex code and systems.
  • An excellent grasp of software engineering principles and a dedication to high-quality, high-performance code.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Driven and self-motivated; able to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • A desire to work closely and collaboratively with team members in other disciplines.
  • Experience in the game industry is preferred, but not required.
