As a web developer at Chef, you will work across our corporate web properties and e-learning platform to inspire and excite users. You will drive a unified web presence through a cohesive site architecture that creates a seamless online experience. Working hand in hand with our dynamic and high-energy marketing team you will have the unique opportunity to build a high-impact web machine for a fast paced software company that is blazing trails in the IT automation space.

What you’ll do at Chef:

• Develop responsive, scalable and maintainable web experiences
• Create functional prototypes to quickly support A/B tests and other trials
• Build clear, connected customer journeys across the web experience
• Support troubleshooting, bug fixing, other required upgrades for existing functionality
• Work with business stakeholders to define/clarify project requirements and acceptance criteria, define success metrics for features to be delivered
• Provide feedback on site architecture, layout, IA and UX

Skills & Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have an obsession with creating and maintaining high quality B2B web properties
• Experience utilizing Wordpress, HTML and CSS/CSS Processors
• Familiarity with Google analytics
• Understanding of marketing goals, customer needs, and how the web helps them
• Strong communication & team working skills
• Excitement for learning new technologies while working within scalable processes
• Able to quickly fix bugs and solve problems

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Javascript, Git, Backend Web Development experience a huge plus

Experience:

• At least 2 years of relevant web development experience and/or B.S. in Computer Science
• Experience with B2B websites and/or eLearning platforms
