The successful candidate will have experience working with development teams on system requirements, assembling test cases, creatively thinking of ways to guarantee overall system and data integrity and experience doing deployments of distributed software. You will be a champion for high quality software and services that perform as expected, delight our customers and handle data and transactions with high accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities: ● Work in tight partnership with product and development teams to understand product vision and requirements ● Understand how all elements of the system software ecosystem work and operate together ● Design Quality Assurance approaches to verify all required operations and functionality ● Be constantly thinking and planning ahead of teams as to avoid design and operational issues before they occur ● Responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses ● Oversee the development and execution of test plans ● Development of, monitoring and reporting on test execution and quality metrics ● Work in close collaboration with Development and Operations, Customer Support, Security and Compliance teams to ensure all major quality metrics are being fulfilled in operation ● Be an experienced hands-on manager who can build and manage a high performance organization ● Design testing strategies to be executed by both local and remote testing teams

Requirements: ● 8+ years of experience in a software testing and leadership capacity ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience ● 5+ years of experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon and Zephyr ● Minimum of 3 years recent development experience in Java ● Strong familiarity with one or more of the following: Spring, JPA, MySQL, Postgresql, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Docker, AWS/EC2, Git, Linux/Ubuntu, HTML/CSS/LESS/Bootstrap, Kubernetes for application deployment. ● General awareness/exposure: Atlassian Scrum Boards, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Apache Kafka, JMS/ActiveMQ, Apache Tomcat/J2EE, Blockchain/Bitcoin, general cryptography, Ubuntu, OpenVPN / OpenSWAN ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills ● Background in cryptocurrency, blockchain and financial systems is a plus ● A deep understanding of quality assurance in a team, and a track record of shipping high quality software on time ● A deep understanding of automation testing by leading engineers who can write automation scripts/programs that will aid in automated testing ● Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
