The Platform Infrastructure team is responsible for the core software infrastructure that defines the Auth0 public cloud environment. These services and tools, used by many other Auth0 software engineering teams, include automated environment creation, secrets management, configuration management, and service discovery. Supporting more than 2.5B logins per month, these core services and tools need to be extremely reliable and fast while handling thousands of client requests per second.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to work with our team designing, implementing and at times rethinking these critical services and tools. Because we build things that support the overall platform, the ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about infrastructure, operations, and not intimidated by cross-organization coordination and collaboration.

What will you be doing?

• Building automation to allow Auth0 to quickly, reliably, and repeatably build new public cloud environments.
• Design and developing services, tools, and automation to expose environment functionality to Auth0 engineering teams.
• Working with other Auth0 engineering teams to understand how they are using the services and their future needs.
• Get your hands dirty by debugging and fixing issues in production.

You might be a good fit if you:

• Have about 4 years of software development experience.
• Have worked with Terraform, Go, and Python.
• Passionate about configuration as code, infrastructure as code, and automating all the things. 
• Proactively solicit feedback from colleagues and iterate over solutions.

Bonus points:

• Comfortable in cloud environment such as AWS.
• Comfortable working with UNIX and core internet networking services.
• Have experience working in distributed teams and work environments.
