Job Overview:
As our Principal Software Engineer for Promotion Systems, You will be responsible for building large scale distributed product that power Coupang's business and growth world wide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the highest quality of architecture and design of systems.
- Decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions.
- Possess expert knowledge in performance (millisecond latencies), scalability (millions of requests per minute), availability (99.99% uptime), enterprise architecture and engineering best practices.
- Leverage knowledge of internal and industry best practices in design.
- Assist in the career development of others by actively mentoring individuals and the community on advanced technical issues, and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members.
- Expert technical influence over multiple teams, and increase their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
Qualification:
- Experience with Java / Eclipse / IntelliJ / Spring / JPA environment
- Experience of developing RESTful web services and performance tuning
- Ability to work in multicultural, cross functional team
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in business and technology
- Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science
Preferred:
- Large system architecture design and development experience
- Experience with designing, building and deploying scalable, highly available systems
- Experience with React, Cassandra or Elastic search
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing like AWS
