Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Experienced in industry standard testing methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript or Python
• 3+ years of software QA testing experience
• 3+ years of experience in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles
• 3+ years of software QA automation experience working with the following technologies: PHP, CSS, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and organized
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to review requirements, describe software product features, test plans and product strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Manual Testing Expertise for a retail environment.
• Ability to write complex test scripts that are portable, reusable, and maintainable.
• Significant experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
• Working with cloud architecture, web services, and web sites.
• Testing mobile and web applications with Java and JavaScript.

• Load testing experience.
• Reporting skills, proficient in creating status reports based on automation results.
• Product experience with wireless consumer electronics.
• Highly methodical test discipline, applicable to all product UI.
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
