RF Test Engineer

Pivotal is seeking a RF Test Engineer to support our team of scientists, engineers and business leaders to test and develop test automation systems for RF/Microwave products. The candidate will be responsible for working with the design, software, and manufacturing teams to support and perform integration, system, and acceptance testing. The candidate should be enthusiastic about software automation and working in a fast paced, evolving environment with a variety of design and production projects.
·Perform RF measurements using industry standard measurement hardware such as VNAs, AWGs, oscilloscopes, power meters, etc.
·Work with cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop and implement HMI applications and diagnostic tool sets for RF measurement and analysis systems
·Support defect resolution and root cause analysis efforts through performing test and data analysis
·Perform integration, system, and acceptance testing of RF/Microwave antenna and radio systems and sub-assemblies
·Support continuous improvement of test fixturing, test setup, and test procedures
·Broad willingness to help out with other duties as needed for project initiatives
·Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
·Previous experience as a Hardware Test Engineer, Antenna Test Engineer, RF Test Engineer, Verification Engineer, System Test Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test or related title
·2 years of experience in design and development of automated test solutions
·Knowledge of RF/Microwave test fundamentals
·Experience developing automated test systems in Python, C, C++
·Self-motivated and able to work independently
·Strong communications skills and ability to work seamlessly in fast paced engineering teams
·Experience with RF/Microwave measurements using Power Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generator, Vector Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power meters
·Ability to frequently lift 40lbs
·Willingness to learn new skills and measurement methods
·This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
·Basic knowledge of Lua and Matlab scripting
·Basic RF assembly skills
·Skilled in the use and implementation of standard CI software systems
·Experience setting up and automating antenna tests
