JOB DUTIES: Architect, implement and maintain large-scale data infrastructures with sophisticated technologies to support Coupang.com’s big data requirements and e-commerce system. Integrate and elevate Coupang’s data platform with new business initiatives, cost modelling and pricing with program skills and language knowledge. Deliver and develop algorithms from automate processes to reporting and streamline data flows. Support business development with modeling and optimization to create efficient designs, evaluate benefits and impacts to cost & reliability. Build durable codes with the ability to scale very large data volumes. Integrate broad working knowledge in related disciplines to create integrated technical innovations solutions for complex business situations and provide system architecture decisions. Foster, mentor, and enforce industry best practices in data architecture design, design patterns and coding standards.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics or related field and 2 years of experience in the position or a related occupation. Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics or related field and 60 months of experience in the position or related as equivalent to the Master’s degree and 2 years of experience.

2 years of work experience must involve in: Designing and developing large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics for logistics networks or related operations by using data mining tools such as SQL, Access, or Tableau; Architect, built, and maintain large-scale data infrastructures with AWS, Azure or Cloudera technologies with either HDInsight, Hadoop MapReduce, Elastic (EMR) or Apache Hive, Hbase, Pig, Hive, or Spark; Providing service oriented architecture, data structures, algorithm design and troubleshoot using either Python, Java or C#; Successfully completed full life-cycle with Big Data technologies using scripting or platform-agnostic language.
