Desired experience:

• 5+ years experience having worked in an Infrastructure, Devops, or SRE engineering role 
• Experience in building, deploying and maintaining production applications on cloud based platforms
• Experience with some common tools and technologies we use: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, SQL, Redshift, Aurora, Linux, Docker, Ansible etc.
• Experience integrating and building tools to support continuous deployment and management of cloud based applications
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code development, and driving infrastructure initiatives across the engineering organization
• Scripting in Bash, Python, Shell, etc.
• Demonstrated increasing experience with one or more modern programming languages
• Proven ability to dive into a large code base and contribute immediately
• A history of writing code that is understandable, maintainable, and testable
• Experience designing scalable APIs and guiding architectural decisions for scale and stability for an organization
• Experience in a 24x7 production environment, tracking the health of services, and troubleshooting issues
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
