Position Overview:

We’re looking for a strong senior platform developer to help us take our technology to the next level.  We are looking for somebody who has experience working with multiple different stakeholders to gather requirements and model a robust RESTful API set, examine the current technology and chart a course forward in an agile setting, and ultimately to build a secure, performant, and extensible API platform that will be consumed by both internal applications and external customers.  You have experience with key technologies such as containers, microservices, SQL/NoSQL storage systems, and serverless computing, and know the strengths of each.  You understand that technology is not sitting still and neither are you as you keep up to date on the latest and understand their benefits and tradeoffs.

Our platform is currently based on an MS SQL backend hosted in Azure with a .NET core API built in C#.  The consumers of our current API are a mix of Web Forms and React in Typescript.

To be successful, you must thrive on building performant, scalable platforms that address a wide-ranging set of needs from customers.  You must enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced environment with many competing demands on your time.  You will be challenged on a daily basis as you build the next generation platform for Ideoclick and our customers.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have: 

• 10+ years of building scalable system software and/or Services
• 5+ years’ experience working with C#/.NET.    Recent experience with .NET Core is a strong plus
• Hands on development experience including designing and writing code
• Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver high quality software
• Passion for customers
• Good collaboration skills across many different stakeholder disciplines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
