Shiftboard is looking for a senior developer to join our team in creating and extending our Software as a Service platform for shift-based workforce scheduling and management. You will be part of a growing team, providing back-end APIs used by our mobile developers, customers and integration partners. For career growth minded developers, this position affords the opportunity to grow your front-end skills in React and Node.js by contributing to our UI teams relying on our API. 

We are a multi-language shop with our back-end built with Perl, MariaDB and a little Python. Our front-end is React, HTML, CSS, Webpack, Grid and Typescript. We are not looking for a jack-of-all-trades to work in every language under the sun, but we're also not looking to consolidate on a single stack.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Mastery of two or more server-side languages
• Front-end experience including React, Angular or in-browser application state management 
• Proficient in SQL
• Desire to be part of a team and work with other smart engineers
• Independent, self-motivated, and an avid technologist
