Who We're Looking For:

We’re seeking a talented software engineer to join the Marketplace Transformation engineering team and help revolutionize the way we match owners and sitters together. 

You will collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to create new and innovative marketplace models. You will directly responsible for helping to design and build new models that will fundamentally change how Rover works.

Your Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years work experience as a software developer
• Comfortable with web development across the full stack - on a given project, you may write SQL, server-side code, and client-side HTML/CSS/JS
• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks (eg. React, Angular, Vue)
• Rigor in automated testing, code quality, and engineering best practices
• Experience with relational databases and schema design
• Bonus: Proficiency with Python and Django
• Bonus: Proficiency with React
• Bonus: Proficiency with A/B testing and experimentation
• Bonus: Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Elasticsearch
