Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions to deliver applications across multiple cloud providers, cloud tools, and client’s existing infrastructure.
• Migrate existing workloads and applications to cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS providers.
• Analyze customer workloads and application inventories to determine appropriate cloud migration strategy. Identify integration and operations technical dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Translate customer's technical and business requirements into clearly defined engineering tasks that can be executed by resources across multiple disciplines.

 Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years as an Engineer with depth on the application and software side of the stack
• Expert level in at least one compiled language (Java, C# or C++)
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, or Go)
• Solid foundation of object-oriented languages, data structures, and efficiency of code
• 2+ years of applied automation, configuration management tools, etc. Ideally with Puppet, Chef, CF Engine, or equivalent.
• Expertise building/automating the provisioning of infrastructure resources to support custom stacks a huge plus.
• Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the high scale cloud architecture, cloud computing market, enterprise and open source technologies.
• Passion for both public and private cloud architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure/cloud migrations, infrastructure disaster recovery planning & implementation ideal.
