Senior Software Engineer, UI – Amplero

Amplero is looking to hire a Sr. Software Engineer to create intuitive user interfaces that provide both configuration surfaces and data dense visualizations for analyzing marketing performance. We are interested in adding a senior engineer whose skill in implementing interfaces is exceptional, coupled with the vision and leadership to help identify and drive the right architecture and framework choices for our front end systems as they evolve.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will:

• Build elegant and responsive single page web applications that make it easy for users to define, manage and analyze data driven marketing campaigns
• Design and implement visualizations for presenting large data sets
• Fully document design and software work products
• Collaborate with other team members around user interface designs, appropriate data representations and access paths to and from our big data platform
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Required:

• 5+ years’ experience with core web technologies including Javascript, JSON, HTML, CSS and RESTful services
• Experience with angular.js (or similar frameworks) and jquery
• A strong desire and ability to learn new technologies
• Ability to quickly pivot and act with agility as dictated by the needs of the business
• A strong sense of enjoyment, pride and ownership in work that is well done
• Candidate with a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related fields or equivalent work experience

Desired:

Experience with bootstrap and d3.js
Visualizations of large data sets
Experience in assessing tools and technologies for growth and scalability
