The Cloud Management Platform team provides a foundation of cloud platform at Pinterest that powers 200M+ monthly active users and serves tens of billions of pins each day on Pinterest. As a Site Reliability Engineer on the CMP team, you’ll work on cloud resource management, scheduling and deploying frameworks, Linux container and orchestration on public clouds.  

What you’ll do:

Design, implement and operate the Compute Platform built on public cloud with Kubernetes.

Responsible for scalability, availability, reliability and efficiency of the platform.

Collaborate with the engineering community, increase engineering velocity and influence the platform direction.

What we’re looking for:

Experience in a modern web scale environment.

Proficient in Python and/or Go.

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix.

Experience operating a large distributed environment, preferably Kubernetes.
